GUIDELINES AND OVERVIEW
- Each nominee can nominate multiple projects.
- Each project may only be nominated for 2 categories at most.
- Each nomination form is valid for 1 entry only. If you are nominating for several categories, please enter each entry separately.
- Nominations will be deliberated by a judging committee based on nominations received.
- Submit your entries and supporting documents on or before 17 July 2020.
- Nomination is free of charge. If your company wins, you are obliged to attend the event and book any of the winners package options for the Awards

ELIGIBILITY
- Technology companies that successfully pioneered groundbreaking IT products and solutions.
- Companies from across different industries with the most innovative technology initiatives that made an impact to their business.
- The technology project, product, service or initiative was launched, in part or full, over the last 24 calendar months.
- The technology project, product, service or initiative was launched prior to 24 calendar months and/or had recent innovations or upgrades.
HOW TO ENTER
ONLINE NOMINATION FORM
- Go to the online nomination form of Malaysia Technology Excellence Awards 2020.
- Read the nomination guidelines.
- Fill out the required fields:
- Company and entrant details
- Chosen categories
- Project title
- Project summary (500-words)
- Client testimonials (optional)
- Project achievements
- Chosen winner's package
CONFIRMATION EMAIL
Once you're done, you will receive an email confirmation of your nomination.
SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS
- Submit three (3) project photos and supporting documents by email.
- Photos are required to be submitted. Supporting documents are optional but will highly increase your chances of winning the award.
- Each nomination form is valid for one (1) entry only. If you are nominating several projects, please enter each separately.
JUDGING CRITERIA
- Uniqueness & Innovation - Has the project introduced new or cutting-edge innovation?
- Effectiveness & Impact - Did the project/product/service achieve its objectives and its targets? How is its success been assessed? What was the
impact it made on your company and industry? If the project is a solution provided for a client, what was the over-all feedback of your client? - Dynamism - Is the strategy, project, service or product flexible to changes and progressive opportunities?

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How do I nominate?
You can send an entry via the online nomination form where you have to fill in details about your company and the product that you wish to enter. You also have to submit a 500 word write up summarizing your product details and why it should win an award.
How many winners per category?
Only one (1) winning company will be awarded per category. Awards will be given per general technology category for a particular industry e.g. AI for Banking, E-Commerce for Apparel, Online Services for Legal, etc.
Can I send two or more entries for our company?
Yes, you may send multiple entries for a maximum of two categories. One online form is equivalent to one entry so if you are nominating multiple entries, please enter each separately.
What can I nominate?
You may nominate projects or products that embraced the use of technology such as software, mobile apps, hardware, e-commerce, website, AI, or any innovation that led your company to a digital journey.
What is Singapore Business Review?
Singapore Business Review (SBR) is the definitive magazine for Singapore's business elite. Founded in 2001, SBR is the only local business magasine in Singapore guaranteed to reach senior decision makers in the top 1,700 companies with combined sales of S$692 billion and 94% of listed companies.

Will there be an awards dinner this year?
We do understand the current situation with COVID-19. Rest assured that our priority remains that of our guest and their safety. So our team will be doing an online awards presentation and video interview through video-conferencing.
