
Dubai Media Incorporated receives two accolades at GovMedia Awards 2025
It brought home the United Arab Emirates Campaign of the Year - Media and the United Arab Emirates E-Governance Project of the Year - Media awards.
Dubai government media organisation Dubai Media Incorporated (DMI) emerged victorious with two major wins at the GovMedia Conference & Awards 2025 for its Governance Ecosystem Transformation initiative that has crafted an inclusive, future-oriented governance model for its stakeholders, as well as its Fi Hob Dubai campaign that reflects the heartfelt expression of love for Dubai and its rulers.
The Governance Ecosystem Transformation initiative was born from the need to reinvent governance to meet the highest global standards. Understanding that traditional governance models were insufficient for the dynamic demands of today’s media environment, DMI engaged stakeholders at every level from leadership and employees to external regulators and strategic industry partners for this undertaking.
The organisation introduced a state-of-the-art digital platform providing instantaneous oversight, compliance monitoring, and data-driven decision-making. It also leveraged advanced artificial intelligence (AI) and disruptive technologies to continuously deliver real-time actionable insights.
DMI’s comprehensive governance transformation resulted in remarkable outcomes, such as a 50% reduction in governance-related delays, complete alignment with global standards, real-time actionable insights, as well as excellence in AI ethics and data governance.
The Governance Ecosystem Transformation initiative brought DMI the United Arab Emirates E-Governance Project of the Year - Media category win in the awards programme.
Meanwhile, the Fi Hob Dubai campaign, which earned DMI the United Arab Emirates Campaign of the Year - Media title, was launched by the organisation’s marketing sector to celebrate the New Year, targeting all segments of society.
As part of the campaign, a collection of exceptional songs expressing people's love for Dubai and Sheikha Hind was released. It reflected the deep admiration for Dubai and its leaders, whilst also highlighting the emirate’s continuous achievements and pursuit of excellence.
The campaign also featured exclusive reports prepared specifically for the occasion, showcasing Dubai’s efforts to strengthen its position as a global leader, its strong international relationships, and its ongoing drive for innovation and leadership. Its media coverage included unique interviews conducted by local content creators.
Amongst the key segments of the campaign include the “Pride of Generations in Dubai,” which showcased the deep sense of pride and belonging that different generations feel for Dubai, as well as the “In Love with Dubai for the Mother of the Sheikhs,” a special tribute expressing love and appreciation for Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum and her leadership in supporting national initiatives.
Other segments include “The World’s Love for Dubai,” which highlights the city’s strong relationships with other countries, and “Dubai: The City of the Future,” which focusses on the city’s ambitious vision for the future and its continuous efforts in shaping and leading global advancements.
GovMedia Conference & Awards 2025 celebrates the achievements of government projects and initiatives from both government organisations and private sector companies that are not only transforming Asia Pacific, but are also making a significant impact across the globe.
