ADC CyberHorizon

In a world where cyber risks are becoming more sophisticated by the day, the ADC CyberHorizon Initiative emerges as a cutting-edge cybersecurity framework designed to protect critical assets and ensure resilience. As cyber risks grow more sophisticated, this initiative sets a new benchmark in defence, seamlessly integrating technology, governance, and proactive threat management.
At its core, ADC CyberHorizon adopts an advanced lifecycle management approach, utilising next-generation security solutions to safeguard digital environments. It stands apart with its AI-driven predictive analytics, automated threat detection, and behavioural monitoring, reinforcing a security-first approach. From secure access protocols using MFA and network management to real-time threat visibility through SIEM and NDR/XDR systems, ADC CyberHorizon is redefining cybersecurity preparedness.
A key pillar of this initiative is its focus on governance and compliance, ensuring alignment with international cybersecurity standards such as ISO 27001:2022 and UAE’s stringent regulatory frameworks. ADC’s cybersecurity governance model integrates GRC systems, encryption management, and data loss prevention, reinforcing security across all organisational layers.
Beyond technology, the initiative prioritises human readiness through innovative cybersecurity awareness programmes. A phishing simulation tool and a dedicated LMS platform empower ADC’s workforce to stay vigilant against emerging threats.
The impact of ADC CyberHorizon extends far beyond its internal ecosystem. By achieving 100% compliance with UAE Government Security Standards, establishing a Security Operations Center (SOC), and integrating with national cybersecurity frameworks, ADC positions itself as a leader in cyber defense, risk mitigation, and real-time security intelligence.
A future-proof initiative, ADC CyberHorizon continuously evolves to meet the changing threat landscape. Through dynamic adaptation, continuous audits, and AI-driven security enhancements, ADC remains at the forefront of cybersecurity excellence—setting new standards in protection, resilience, and innovation.
AI Next
AI Next uses artificial intelligence to convert written training materials into educational videos with sign language interpretation. This tool makes services more accessible for people of determination, particularly those with hearing impairments.
This AI-powered initiative breaks communication barriers and improves service delivery for everyone.
One of the biggest hurdles faced by government agencies is providing specialised training content for people with hearing impairments. This is especially when it comes to complex customs terminology, much of which isn’t covered in traditional sign language dictionaries. In the past, organisations had to rely on human interpreters that are costly and at the same time, limited in availability and consistency.
To solve this, Abu Dhabi Customs developed an AI translation system that recognises and translates specific customs terms into sign language. This smart system helps create more accurate and easy-to-understand content, reducing the need for human interpreters.
The tool understands and translates technical terms that were previously hard to interpret, whilst also enhancing how employees interact with people of determination. Going beyond static content, the platform includes a live camera feature that allows real-time conversations between customs officers and customers using sign language.
AI Next sets a new benchmark for accessible government services and creates a more inclusive society where communication is fair and easy for all. As one of the first government bodies to introduce AI-powered sign language support in a public service setting, ADC is leading by example and encouraging others to follow.
